The Berkeley Geoarchaeological XRF Laboratory is the daughter lab of Robert F. Heizer, Ian Charmichael, Robert Jack, and Joachim Hampel, originally housed in the Department of Geology and Geophysics (now the Department of Earth and Planetary Sciences).  Students and scholars have access to the full range of EPS instrumentation (SEM, ESEM, microprobe, XRF, XRD, ICP-MS, optical petrography).
